Where do you deliver?


We currently deliver within a 10 mile radius of central Denver. How much is delivery?


Standard delivery is $10/order. Order $100 or more in a week and receive FREE delivery. Use code FIRSTWEEK for free delivery your first week with a $50 order minimum.




When do deliveries take place?


Weekly meals are delivered on Mondays between 8am and 1pm.




What if I’m not home for delivery?


No problem! You can specify delivery instructions during check-out. Just let us know where our delivery drivers can leave your bag(s). Keep in mind they need to be refrigerated within a few hours to stay fresh!





The Food

What kind of food do you make?


Great food, in a bowl. It’s that simple. The meals made at Bowls by KO are 100% free of gluten, soy, and refined sugar. Every bowl is filled with real, unprocessed food that tastes amazing and makes you feel even better. We offer paleo and paleo-ish options (more info on the difference below)




What’s the difference between Paleo and Paleo-ish?


Paleo is a way of eating "based on the types of foods presumed to have been eaten by early humans, consisting chiefly of meat, fish, vegetables, and fruit, and excluding dairy or grain products and processed food". This plan is 100% free of grain, soy, dairy & refined-sugar. Great for people looking to eat lower-carb or those eliminating certain foods for health purposes. Paleo-ish is less restrictive while still focusing on completely unprocessed food. All the food on this plan is 100% free of gluten, soy and refined sugar but incorporates some grains like rice & quinoa. Some meals offered each week will be automatically Paleo or Paleo-ish and will be noted in the meal details. When a meal has the option to choose between Paleo and Paleo-ish, the only difference is the base. You’re given the option to choose from a grain-free base like greens or cauliflower rice or a grain base like quinoa or rice.




Can I mix and match Paleo and Paleo-ish meals?


If you’re ordering a la carte, YES. You can select your meal type option in the order details before you add to cart. If you have a weekly subscription, NO. I ask that you stick to one plan for order consistency. You can cancel and change your plan type at any time.




How long do the meals last?


Meals come fully prepared and should be stored in the refridgertor. Meals are delivered on Monday and are in most cases intended to last until Friday. Meals with shorter shelf lives (like seafood) will have a note in the details when you place your order.




Do meals come with caloric information or macros?


No! Bowls by KO is NOT intended to be a diet. I want to support intuitive eating and for me that means no calorie counting. All meals are packed with fresh, whole ingredients. No processed food - EVER.




What do the meals come in?


We use 100% compostable packaging at Bowls by KO. Most meals are delivered in 24oz compostable bowls with clear compostable lids. Soups are delivered in 32oz soup containers.




How do you reheat the meals?


Each week's menu will have a mix of meal types including salads, buddha bowls, soups, and other rice/grain bowls. Some can be eaten cold and others should be heated up. Specific instructions can be found in the details of each meal when you place your order. Salads: Enjoy cold straight out of the fridge. Buddha bowls: Enjoy cold straight out of the fridge. OR to enjoy warm, reheat for 1-2 minutes in the microwave in provided packaging or pour contents into a saute pan and heat on medium-high heat for 3-5 minutes. Remove any sauce or dressing before reheating. Rice bowls/other entrees: Reheat for 1-2 minutes in the microwave in provided packaging or pour contents into a saute pan and heat on medium-high heat for 3-5 minutes. Remove any sauce or dressing before reheating. PRO TIP: If the rice in your bowl seems very dry, add 1-2 tablespoons of water to your bowl or pan when reheating.





Ordering & Subscriptions

Do I have to get meals every week?


No! Bowls by KO now offers a la carte weekly orders. Any time you'd like to order you simply go to www.bowlsbyko.com/meal-plans and purchase your meals for the week. If you do sign up for a subscription you'll receive 5% off your weekly meals and will be auto-charged weekly for your meal delivery.




Can I order less than 5 meals?


YES. Now you can! Order a la carte each week, no minimum order size. Order $100+ for free delivery. If you do order all 5 meals, you’ll receive a discounted price.




What’s the benefit of a subscription?


  1. Save money! Get 5% off your weekly meals when you sign up for a subscription
  2. Convenience! No need to remember to place your order every week. You’ll automatically get one of each five weekly menu items delivered to you on Monday.
  3. Pause any time! Don’t like the menu? Traveling for the week? Simply pause for the week.
Please note: you are not able to customize your meal choices with a 5 meal subscription. You will recieve one of each menu item per week (choose paleo or paleo-ish). If you'd like to customize your order, order a la carte each week!




How do I pause my subscription?


If you're going away for a week or simply don't like the menu for a given week, good news! You can pause at any time. Simply click the “Pause or cancel” button under “Subscribers” at the top-right corner of the weekly menu page. You will be prompted to input your account information and the dates you’d like to pause your subscription for. Just remember to pause by the Friday before the scheduled delivery week. Any payments processed for the weeks your subscription is paused will be refunded to your account.




How do I cancel my subscription?


Before you cancel, remember you can pause at any time! If you do need to cancel, simply click the “Pause or cancel” button under “Subscribers” at the top-right corner of the weekly menu page. You will be prompted to select a reason. Just remember to cancel by the Friday before the scheduled delivery week! Once your cancel request is submitted your plan will be canceled within 24 hours and no further payments will be processed.
